Monday

I have to say that I have met people on FB that have quickly become better friends than people I have known for 20 years.  Thank you.  Seriously.  I feel like I have suddenly come alive.  I am not listening to someone who is afraid the building we are living in is going to fall down around our ears or someone who insists on talking about themselves continuously.  Yeah!

There was one little incident today that pissed me off a little.  I jokingly shared my horoscope for the day.  Got a response back that it was gobble de gook.  It was a joke, person.  How dare you debase me like that.  Shows how belittling you can be.

Anyhow, not a lot else happening today.    Have a great rest of the week, my friends. Julie, hope you are having a great time.  Stay safe, my friend.

I have left a comment on your post for Saturday. Are you talking about me when you say FB friends that you have become friends with quickly. If so the feeling is mutual, I enjoy our chats very much although I do think I prattle on a fair bit. I am a friendly person I have been told. I can talk to anyone and usually do, even strangers but thats us aussies mainly a friendly bunch. I saw that post you are talking about. I find FB and texting a bit dangerous (not sure that is the right word), you never hear the tone of a persons voice and sometimes I think the comments made may be in good faith or as a bit of a joke but you don't realise because you don't hear them said. Hope you know what I mean. I know I have had texts and I think oh no I've upset whoever only to find out later on that all was well. That is why I try to put lol or ha after my comments where I am being light hearted about something. Crap day at work today, two meetings that went on forever and didn't achieve much at all. Such a waste of time and makes my brain feel dead, doesn't take too much to have that affect anymore. I haven't had much spare time the last few days to do much on FB or talk to you and others. Trip down south was OK, lots of dead wombats this time on the side of the road. One fellow was still alive on the way out, we saw his tongue move, but was dead on the way back with flies and birds all around him. Poor fellow. Another nice area that I really like here that you could google is Kiama, New South Wales. Do you have Google Earth? Last year we went to Sydney on Boxing Day, went out on the harbour in a large paddle steamship and watched the start of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race that is on every Boxing Day. It was a glorious day on the harbour, we went under the bridge, across the front on the Opera House and then right up to where they started, it was wonderful. The harbour is very beautiful, the zoo Taronga is right on it. You would love it I am sure. You can climb the bridge and that is great also. Oh, I really do hope you get to come out. Nearly 4 pm here and I am off to the hairdresser at 4.30 pm. Want to have my hair done but can't stand the gossip and crap that they go on with. If they cut that back I would be home an hour earlier I swear. Take care Linda. xox

26 DAYS ONLY OH THE COUNTDOWN IS REALLY ON. I THINK I WOULD HAVE A TIGHTNESS IN MY CHEST WITH ALL THE EXCITEMENT AND ANTICIPATION.

Julie, I adore you. You, Hennie and Cherie have become the best friends I have ever had. That might sound a little pathetic, but it is so true. I adore you all.

Meetings are such a waste of time. Nothing ever gets accomplished in them. I sympathize, Yes, most posts on FB are difficult to gauge, but I find the ones between you, me, Hennie and Cheri are very straight forward. There are a few I just take with a grain of salt. Although I find Hind quite refreshing.

I get my hair done at a little salon near my office. Not a lot of people when I go, so I am done within 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Anyhow, I am already planning on saving to come and see you. That will be my next accomplishment in my life. A very pleasant one. I really want to meet Sienna and, hopefully, a new one.

You take care, lots of love.

Not pathetic at all Belinda. We probably talk a lot more about everyday things than we do with close friends. Hair is all done, not home until 7.30 pm though, big welcome from Jackie who was in the dark, on my bed of course. You would LOVE Sienna, Rob works a nine day fortnight (don't know if you have them) today was his day off and he came into the office with her. She was a bit out of sorts because she hadn't had a lot of sleep but we still got some smiles out of her and I got my usual kiss. 11 months old now, unbelievable. She is a little doll (I keep saying that I know). There is a large covered deck off Nat & Robs house and I bought them a couple of wall fans (it gets a bit hot out there). Robert is an apprentice electrician with Ausgrid (our major electricity supplier) so he will install them. Keep planning that next trip Belinda, I am looking forward to it. Julie xox
