Thursday

Has been a week of ups and downs.  Strange.  Finding out today that I may get my promotion was good.,    Only been trying for about 5 years.  Will believe it when I see it.

Have Greg's birthday dinner tomorrow.  Got all the stuff done tonight.  Gosh I am organized for a change.

Not muchy else going on right now.  Trying to figure out my luggage for Nairobi.  Too many people have given me sunscreen and my weight allowance is getting a little ridiculous.  Trying to shift things around   I want to help them so much.

Anyhow, not a lot more to say.  Have a great end of the week my friends.   And a great week end.

My god, just looked at the length of my last comment. You talk about having a rant, I'm ranting and raving. To finally get your promotion after five years would be reward enough I think, although some extra pay would be the icing, fingers crossed for you. Happy belated birthday to Greg tonight. He is going to love his cake, home made too. I have friends coming tomorrow night. Denise and I went to kindergarten and right through school together. We both left school in Year 10, which was common when we went through High School, as we call it. We have stayed friends all these years, through having kids and all. I am sure that whatever you are able to manage to get to Kenya will be gratefully received not matter how small or large. Gosh only a month to go, the time seems to be flying now, although I guess not quickly enough for you. Ross is on his way home now but won't be here until about 10 pm, 8.37 pm now, hope he drives carefully and doesn't hit any kangaroos. Talk over the week end some. Love Julie xxx

Not a rant at all, Julie. Wow, you and your friend since kindergarten. I moved around too much to have any friends from school. I have always felt that I was born a little out of sync, I don't have any friends from my childhood.

Yes, only a month to go. I am all packed and ready. Haha. I know they will be received gratefully. I sent a message to Edwin that I would leave everything with him for fair distribution. I know I can trust him to do this.

Greg showed me the ring he bought for Allie. It is beautiful. Not a real diamond, but still beautiful. Hope she likes it.

Hope Ross made it home OK without hitting any roos. Take care love. Glad to have you as a friend.

Happy news about the ring Greg has bought Allie. It doesn't matter how much it is worth, she will love it because he bought it for her. I wonder when he will give it to her. So exciting for you Belinda and so lovely that you think they are such a good match. You have left the distribution in the best of hands I feel with Edwin. Ross made it home OK once again. He is getting older 59 on the 30th November and it is all getting a bit much, he works so hard and alway has, says he is not ready to give it up yet. Off on my jaunt down south tomorrow, can't say I am looking forward to it. Leaving Jackie at home by herself and Rob will come and feed her. My neighbours have had their three year old granddaughter this week plus the new 5 month old pincher Mac that are their second son Richards. He has gone to Phuket with his wife for two weeks. They are going back to Sydney tomorrow to spend the second week down there. So Jackie can't stay with them this time. She will be fine though, she is comfortable here rather at one of the boys places. They have dogs and cats that she doesn't feel comfortable with. Have a great week. Will talk soon, love Julie xoxox
