Hoo, boy.  Had a major meltdown last night.  I think everything that has happened since January finally caught up with me.  Between the car and the dog, it has been never ending.  And yesterday, I couldn't even go to the store on my own, so I think I was feeling a little pressured.  I love Kayla dearly, but the last time I had any time to myself was when I went to Nairobi.  It is almost like being a single mom again. The only time I go anywhere without her is when I go to work.  I couldn't even take a bath, she was there needing to go out again.  We were out at least 7 times yesterday.  And I have no idea what set her tummy off this time.  I just put her potty box away on Saturday and washed all the floor, had to take it out again yesterday.  Wouldn't be so bad if she didn't try to cover up what she does.  By doing that, she spreads it all over the place.  What a mess. Oh, well, I guess that's life.  But, hey, Lif...
Wow.  Found out I am going to be a Grandma.  I am so happy.  I hope everything goes well.  Greg is so happy and scared at the same time.  So is Allie.  I don't think they have anything to worry about.  They are both going to be great parents.   The best part of it is they have a great support behind them.  Allie's parents are wonderful, and they love Greg.  I love Allie.  I have started hoarding.  Haha.  Every time I go shopping, I buy one or 2 things for the baby.  By the time he/she gets here, I will have a whole pile of things.  Just stuff like baby shampoo, body wash, diapers, etc.  I am terrified if they have a girl.  Greg is going to be a boyfriends worst nightmare.  LOL.  He will be very protective of her.  That's my boy.  He has a soft heart and wants to fix everything for everyone.  I love him so much.  And Allie won't take shit from anyone.  This is ...
February 15th.  It has been a month since Kayla had her operation and she is doing great.  She is running and playing just like she used to and eating much better.  I have her on a bit of a diet.  She needs to lose a few pounds because of her arthritis.  Hopefully it will help.  It has also been 9 days since the optometrist told me my Grave's disease is back, in both eyes this time. I met a very nice man, nothing to report on this yet, we had dinner once.  He seems very interested. And I turned 57 this week.  All in all, it has been an eventful month. Nothing much else happening, thank goodness.  Don't think I could take anymore excitement or changes. Well.  Have a great weekend, my friends, and a lovely week next week. Well, Kayla goes for her surgery in the morning.  Feels like I am going in, all the crazy thoughts going through my head.  I don't want to go to sleep, because as soon as I do, it will be morning and time to take her.  I'm not sure how she is going to react when I leave her there.  I just keep thinking about how much better she is going to be after.  Maybe not right away, but soon.  Need to speak to the vet and make sure we change her pain medication.  The one they gave her makes her sick.  Anyhow, we are 2 weeks into the new year.  Time goes fast.  Need to seriously start my diet again.  Now that I am not with the trainer anymore, I tend to be slacking off a bit more.  Anyhow, have a great rest of the week, my friends. New year's eve.  All I can hope is this year is better than last year.   Kayla's leg is not doing very well.  I have a feeling it might be a sprain.  Nothing we can do.  She is getting pain medication, but it doesn't seem to be helping too much.  Poor darling.  I hate seeing her in pain. Too all my friends, I wish them love, happiness, health and peace.  All the best for the new year.  Let this be the year change happens big time.  We can no longer sustain the human race at the pace we are going.  Not going to get into a long winded speech.  I just wish the best for everything in 2013. TTFN. Love to all.
Have had a wonderful Christmas.  Lovely people, good food.  Good news.  Hopefully I will become a grandma in the next year.  Kayla is not doing great.  Needs surgery to remove the lump under her armpit.  That's going to cost a small fortune.  But it has to be done.  Can't let her keep suffering.  Other than that, not a lot going on.  Gosh, I wish I could win the lottery, just a small portion of it.   Anyhow, my friends.  I wish you all the best for 2013.  May you all be happy, healthy, and prosperous.  Keep on keeping on.  Love to you all. TTFN.
Wow, almost December.  Where did the time go.  Christmas is upon us again. Haven't been very active.  Between my neighbor next door, who keeps screaming obscenities at all hours of the day and night, and my neighbor upstairs, I think I will be the one to end up in the loony bin.  The one upstairs has convinced himself that, since he wasn't able to stop the construction of the new arena, which is right outside our door, his depression is excusable.  Give me a break.  I was sympathetic for a little while, but after 8 months, I have had it.  Now he has turned into a hypochondriac.  Every couple of days, he heads off to emergency with a new ailment.  No more enabling.  This is the end.  Now he is convinced he has aids because he slept with someone over 20 years ago. Sorry, need to vent.  Nothing I do is ever good enough for him.  He has been a good friend over the years,  but he is not willing to do anythi...
