I am a grandma!

Wow, what a gorgeous Saturday morning.  Started off not so great with a cat almost killing a squirrel in front of me, but blue skies, sunshine and warm temps made it better.  Will go back to the canal for the street food festival in a little bit.  Never been to it before so it should be interesting. Three days of grey skies and cool temperatures.  Enough already.  I don't mind the cool temperatures, but give me a little sunshine, please!

Wow, September already.  Where did the summer go.  Grey and miserable today.  No real rain, but every so often you could feel a drop.  Started repairing the front door.  Poor Kayla, I feel horrible that she was alone and so terrified.  Freaky, though.  There is only about 6 weeks left for my granddaughter to arrive.  I am so excited, but also feel a little weird about it.  How did I get old enough to have a grandchild?  LOL.  My son has proven himself a man, responsible and happy at last.  Still not there for me, though.  Oh well.  Can't have everything.  Not much else going on.  Have a great weekend and a lovely week, my friends.
